Nature’s Entity
I could see the bare trees, stripped back, with nothing left to hide behind. Their leaves were an orange dust, scattered over the ground. Empty. The trees, standing still above the ground, looked haunted; the sky was a blanket, covering the world. The wind was like the sea, a gentle wave hitting me with every second.
Leaves were dancing with the wind, a harsh, cold and difficult performance. The mood was dark: a drop of rain. The moon climbed higher into the sky, slowly. A carpet of brown covered the muddy ground, and the moon lit up the sky like a lamp. An infinity of stars were crammed into the sky, while the black blanket of the night descended further.
The love of this nature was twisted by a hatred of effort. Boom. A gun. I didn’t flinch. I would never flinch. They could come to cut down the trees, but I would not stop fighting for them.

Autumn’s kiss
The Autumn wind whirled around her still body, leaving her auburn hair flowing freely behind her. The sound of crinkling leaves crunched beneath her feet, creating a trail of destroyed leaves to mark her presence. She heard the majestic call of the birds ring out boldly above her head, and the warming sunlight beamed in from the small gaps in the leaves.
She felt eyes lay on her from the woodland creatures and she suddenly collapsed onto the muddy path, lying on her back, left alone in the middle of the woods. The chorus of birds abruptly stopped. Everything was left silent.
